How will I receive my eBook or Audiobook?
When you buy and ebook or audiobook from this site, you’ll receive a confirmation email from our trusted digital distribution partner, BookFunnel, with a link providing access to your ebook or audiobook. BookFunnel will also provide instructions on how to download your ebook or deliver the file to your Kindle, iPhone, Android device, Nook or Kobo, or other ereading device.
Audiobooks may be listened to exclusively on the free and easy-to-use BookFunnel app.
New things can sound intimidating, but the process is super easy. For example, if you buy an ebook and want to forward it to your Kindle, you simply follow these three easy steps.
- Download the free BookFunnel app
- Clink the link provided in the confirmation email from BookFunnel
- On the BookFunnel app, tap “Send to Kindle”
You can also copy the code in the email and paste it into your BookFunnel app, then tap “Send to Kindle.”

How will my Print Books be shipped?
Print books are sent from Maryland or from one of our trusted distributors via USPS, unless you choose a different shipment message. Delivery times vary depending on origin, destination, and distributor. Please allow three weeks for your non-preorder deliveries. If you have not received your order within that time, feel free to reach out using the contact form on this site or email bookstore@melissafoster.com

I placed an order! Now what?
You will receive an email confirming your purchase. For digital products, please see “How will I receive my ebook or audiobook.” For print products or other physical merchandise, once an order has shipped, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number (if chosen shipment method includes tracking).
My item is delayed! What do I do?
We understand that sometimes things don't work out right, and parcels may be delayed or lost in transit. While we provide you with a tracking number, should you need any further assistance in locating your parcel, please contact us here.
Can I return my purchase?
Unfortunately, we do not accept change of mind returns. All sales are final and non-returnable. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we stand behind the quality of our products and believe that you will love them just as much as we do!
What if my product is damaged?
If a book is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong title or format, we will evaluate the issue and make it right. Returns are eligible for defective or damaged items only if you contact us within 3 days of receiving them as per the tracking date of receipt. For defective product inquiries, please contact us here.
I accidently bought two of the same digital product! What do I do?
Refunds may be provided if you buy a duplicate digital item within 48 hours of first purchase. In this case, the duplicate item will be refunded after proof of purchase has been provided.
Shipping Policy
When you purchase goods from our Site https://shop.melissafoster.com (hereafter known as the Site), the goods will be delivered through one of the following methods:
1. DIGITAL GOODS (ebooks and audiobooks) can be downloaded from the link in your order confirmation email, and as a backup they are also delivered instantly by an email from BookFunnel to the email address you used at Checkout. If you do not see their email, please check your Spam, or if using Gmail, also check your Promotions tab.
2. PRINT BOOKS & MERCHANDISE products will be shipping within two weeks of order placement. Average product shipping times to the United States is 5-10 days after products are shipped. Average overseas shipping varies based on location. We are not liable for shipping delays or distributor delays. PLEASE NOTE: Print books & merchandise are not available to purchase from the Europeon Union (EU).
You are required to provide us with a complete and accurate delivery address, including the name of the recipient when ordering physical goods. We are not liable for the delivery of your goods to the wrong address or wrong person as a result of you providing us with inaccurate or incomplete information.

Returns Policy
All purchases are non-refundable.
DIGITAL GOODS
Refunds do not apply to digital goods: ebooks and audiobooks. These are instant downloads. Please choose carefully. For audiobooks, there is a Soundcloud sample. Listen to it first to see if you like it.
DUPLICATE PURCHASES – DIGITAL GOODS
Refunds may be provided if you buy a duplicate item within 48 hours of first purchase in which case the duplicate item will be refunded after proof of purchase has been provided.
PRINT BOOKS & MERCHANDISE
Refunds do not apply to print books and merchandise.
Replacement items may be given for damaged or defective print books & merchandise if you contact us within 3 days of receiving item (according to the tracking), and provide photographic proof of the damaged packaging and item. Damaged items must be returned within two weeks of receipt. Please note all physical products are bubble wrapped and well protected for shipping.
REPLACEMENT QUERIES
Email bookstore@melissafoster.com within 3 days of receiving your product (according to the tracking). Please use the subject "returns" and include your name, order number, reason for return, and photographs of faulty item and damaged packaging.
